Akaroa House
Akaroa House provides luxury accommodation in Akaroa, New Zealand. Building upon the foundation of the Silverstripe CMS, I set out to produce a clean, usable design. HTML5 and CSS3 are used throughout the site, with progressive enhancement so even IE6 users see something pretty. I worked with the client to produce the content, and the use of Silverstripe ensures that the website will be easy to update.

International Year of Astronomy
The International Year of Astronomy (IYA) was a celebration of astronomy in 2009, 400 years after Galileo first pointed his telescope to the heavens. I took over the role of developing the website for the New Zealand ‘node’. I took the existing website and converted it to modern standards-compliant markup. I then moved it over to the Silverstripe CMS, from which I maintained it throughout the year. I was responsible for writing original content, as well as adding news stories and events.

Camino
Camino is an open source web browser for Mac OS X. It combines the Gecko rendering engine from Firefox with a user-friendly Mac interface and integration OS X technologies like the Keychain and Services. As part of an international team I develop new features, fix new and existing bugs, and provide support to end-users. Camino is written in Objective-C++, and developed using tools such as Xcode, Interface Builder, and Mercurial.
